Hello! I’m Pompy & I’m a professional music person.

Among many identities, I am a touring & session drummer, artist manager at Collective Entertainment, producer, teaching artist, & artist consultant.  My mission is simple: help artists build a sustainable career on their own terms.

Being exposed to music at a young age from my father’s collection of Motown, surf music, big band, and bebop records, I picked up my first pair of sticks (pencils) at age 3. I upgraded from an assortment of pencil and puzzle boxes to my first drum kit at age 8. I began gigging professionally by the age of 12 and touring by the age of 14. Truthfully, I have no idea why my parents agreed to this (we were in a pick-em-up truck with a trailer!), but I’m glad they did. Music is at the core of my being and I am endlessly grateful to be living my passion. I give a a lot of fucks about what I do.

In the fall of 2012, I packed my bags and shipped off to Berklee College of Music to realize my dream: found and manage an indie rock band – specifically one that sounded like Tera Melos meets The Mars Volta meets Radiohead. The day after our graduation in 2016, my indie band Bat House embarked on a 6 week regional tour and, over the next 2 years, would continue on to release an album, 2 EPs, and sign with agents at New Frontier Touring.

Since graduating college, I have graced the stages of major music festivals Lollapalooza, Shaky Knees, Moogfest, SXSW, and venues across North America and Europe ranging in capacity from 50-6,000 with indie rock and indie pop artists from all over the world. I specialize in hybrid drum set ups, incorporating Ableton Live, triggers, and sample pads into the acoustic kit.

I have performed and/or recorded with the following artists:

Torres Lily & Madeleine Vundabar

Bat House Thickets Myles Marcus

Be You Me Honeycutt Cowboy Boy

Enya Lim Ava Sophia Sarah Troy Clark

Ayala Escape Pod Lady Pills

I am proud to be a Sunhouse Sensory Percussion and Dream Cymbals artist.

Currently, I am a touring and remote session drummer based out of Brooklyn, NY. I am the day-to-day manager for Julia Nunes and project managing the release of How to Build A Sustainable Music Career and Collect All Revenue Streams by Emily White.
