Hello! I'm Pompy. I'm a drummer, music industry professional, entrepreneur, traveler, professional music fanatic, and am deeply passionate about what I do.
I am a Brooklyn based touring and session drummer hailing from Pittsburgh, PA. Having picked up my first pair of sticks at age 8, I began gigging professionally by the age of 12 and touring by the age of 14. Music is at the core of my being and I am endlessly grateful to be living my passion. I give a a lot of fucks about what I do.
An alumni from Berklee College of Music, I’ve quickly established myself as a versatile drummer live and in the studio. Recent career highlights include supporting Beck at The Anthem (DC) and Wye Oak at Brooklyn Steel with Torres, supporting Warpaint with Lady Pills, and supporting Elliot Sumner, Delicate Steve, Vundabar, and Palm with Bat House. Recent tours include east coast, midwest, and southern headline tours with Bat House. Major festival performances include Lollapalooza, Shaky Knees, Moogfest, SXSW, Northside Festival, Boston staple Fuzztival.
Currently, I am the recording and touring drummer for Torres and the touring drummer for Lily & Madeleine and a Sunhouse Sensory Percussion Artist.
As a campaign manager/album release specialist and indie artist champion, I’ve teamed up with my music industry colleagues George Howard and Emily White to publish books via 9GiantStepsBooks to help creative people build sustainable, impactful businesses on their own terms. Emily White’s “How to Build a Sustainable Music Career and Collect All Revenue Streams” is available for pre-order now here.
